It has been a long battle with years of work. We negotiated to get something at Waller street, and we did-nine buttery black granite ledges. A legit new skate street plaza in San Francisco has finally come. Thanks to all the supporters.
Build The Skatepark at Waller Street Now! Rally

Build a Skatepark at Stanyan Waller in Golden Gate Park
Help support Left Side and the San Francisco Skateboard Association build a much need skatepark in Golden Gate Park at Stanyan and Waller. The plan calls for a multi-use area for a farmers market and other community oriented activities, with a skatepark on the backside.
Please sign our petition to get the park built. There has been a lot of opposition due to the way people perceive skateboarding. Regardless the youth of San Francisco need a place to recreate. Give us a spot in the city before there’s nothing.
